We are excited to announce that our new 140-dry-rack expansion barn has opened, officially bringing enhanced security, convenience, and elite VIP dry rack valet boat storage service to the boaters of Florida’s Treasure Coast. This expansion meets the needs of our growing boating community in Palm City, Stuart, North River Shores, Rio, and beyond, bringing Meridian’s total capacity to 540 racks.
Complementing Meridian’s existing 62,000-square-foot storage facility, the new storage barn is the only dry stack storage home in the region to accommodate boats up to 50 feet in length. It also offers unmatched Category-Five hurricane protection, ensuring your vessel’s safety during any weather, and Meridian’s signature concierge boat service. Simply contact us an hour before you want to be out on the water, and our team will stock your boat and get it ready for launch.
Slips in our new barn are filling quickly, so call us today to secure your spot. Stay tuned for the next phase in the expansion, which will include a stunning on-water restaurant experience overlooking the St. Lucie River.
140 brand-new outdoor dry racks and 140 new indoor racks
We do not believe in offering too many options for the finest new dry stack boat storage on the Treasure Coast.
Our dry stack storage expansion barn has upgraded Palm City boat storage to a new standard and is now accepting vessels of up to 50 feet in a sophisticated, Category-Five-rated structure. The structure and Meridian’s property are designed for complete security with a staff ready to give you a valet VIP experience. In addition to the safe haven, we also added 140 gleaming new outdoor racks cared for by Dockmaster Ryan Jacobs and Meridian’s efficient team of dockhands and professional forklift drivers. Existing marina members who would like to move their vessel from an outdoor rack to the new indoor barn have first preference, and we encourage you to get in touch with any questions as the barn fills to capacity.

About Meridian Marina
Welcoming the boaters of the St. Lucie River and beyond
On the South Fork of the St. Lucie River, in the heart of Palm City, Florida, rests a facility that balances sprawling dry stack storage sophistication with the endearing feel of relaxation on the Treasure Coast.
This is Meridian Marina, Martin County’s largest marina, offering a first-class boater’s experience. As the only marina in Palm City, we are home to a 62,000-square-foot dry storage barn and brand-new outdoor dry racks that can accommodate 140 additional boats. In 2021, we came under the ownership of VIP Marinas, and have since initiated changes that have taken the marina to a whole new level.
We have an expanded and renovated barn with a new roof and siding on the dry storage facility, with a 300-foot-long new indoor barn area graded for 170 mile-per-hour winds. We’ve added a new fuel system, are opening a new 2,000-square-foot ship store, and continue to operate with a class of customer service that adheres to a standard of complete excellence. We’re actively building the first and only restaurant in Palm City directly on the water and have more than doubled our storage capacity with the new expansion barn, which has expanded Palm City’s boat storage destination from 260 to a whopping 540 storage racks.
We understand the importance of a worry-free boating experience. Our state-of-the-art facilities include hurricane storage, a convenient fuel dock, and a professional boat washing service to maintain your boat’s pristine appearance. Give us a call or notify us via the SpeedyDock app at least one hour before your arrival, and our staff will fill your gas tank, put ice and/or beer in the coolers, and load up any additional amenities to accompany you on your journey. Let us handle the logistics while you focus on exactly what you came for:
Cruising the Treasure Coast without a care in the world.
Meridian Marina Palm City Hurricane Storage
Boating on the Florida coasts brings the hard reality of the possibility of life-altering storms. We believe the best preparation for nature is a strong defense. For us, that stands solidly in the form of two hurricane-graded indoor dry stack boat storage barns.
Our expansion barn that opened in 2026 has been specifically designed to withstand Category-Five hurricane forces, and is designed to turn away winds of 170 miles per hour. The new facility provides a secure environment for boats up to 50 feet in length. We encourage boaters to get in touch with us well before hurricane season starts on June 1. Most insurance companies require a hurricane plan, and your hurricane storage preparation now will save you time, money, and potentially your vessel during a storm event.
