Rick Jacobs, CMM

General Manager

Rick is the General Manager at Meridian Marina. He has 30 years of experience in dry stack marinas. Rick moved to South Florida from his hometown of Port Huron, Michigan, at age 18. With his first job in Florida, he found a way of life most people only dream of. His knowledge and experience in operating a dry stack storage marina in South Florida is absolutely unparalleled. Rick knows every aspect of what it takes to manage and operate a successful dry stack storage facility! He knows that offering top-notch customer service and providing quality, full-service vessel storage at competitive rates, will help make Meridian Marina the #1 dry stack storage facility on the Treasure Coast!

Jennifer Jacobs

Operations Manager

Jennifer is the Operations Manager of Meridian Marina with over 20 years of experience in marina management. Jen is a sixth-generation Floridian, born and raised right here in Martin County, Florida! To say she has a passion for boating on the South Florida waterways would be an understatement. It is a way of life for her and her family. Jennifer and her husband Rick (Meridian Marina’s General Manager) have passed their love of boating down to their children, who are also part of the team at Meridian! With her warm and friendly disposition paired with her open and welcoming approach to customer service, Jennifer strives to make every customer feel like part of the family!

Roger Johnson

Head of Maintenance

Roger is a dedicated and loyal member of the Meridian team. His knowledge of property maintenance and skills as an electrician make him an asset to Meridian. Roger’s passion for being on the water led him to Meridian Marina nine years ago. Roger values the team dynamics at Meridian and he respects his colleagues, viewing every day as an opportunity to learn and grow while supporting himself and his family. Roger hails from the Dominican Republic where he was a licensed electrician, world-class chess champion, and ninth-degree black belt in karate. Roger believes in the power of teamwork and strives to deliver top-notch service to clients, ensuring their repeat business to the marina. Roger brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Outside of work, Roger learned the Rubik’s Cube and can solve the puzzle faster than you would believe possible! He also enjoys spending quality time with his family, studying the English language, and staying physically active through exercise and martial arts training.

Ryan Jacobs

Lead Forklift Operator

Ryan brings a deep-rooted passion for the marine industry to our team. Inspired by the days of his youth, his summers are spent working at marinas alongside his father, Rick Jacobs (GM of Meridian Marina). Ryan learned the ropes of marine forklift operations and with his years of experience, has become one of the best in his field! As Lead Forklift Operator at Meridian Marina, Ryan ensures impeccable service for marina members, striving to make every boating experience seamless and enjoyable. Ryan excels in expertly maneuvering boats with precision and care, always prioritizing timely readiness for our customers and he enjoys working alongside his family. Outside of the marina, Ryan enjoys the new responsibilities of homeownership and cherishes time spent with his fiancée.

Andrea Spencer

Forklift Operator

Andrea brings a wealth of experience to the Meridian Marina team as a forklift operator. In her role, Andrea is one of Meridian’s two forklift operators. Along with the marina team, Andrea handles boat placement, launch, and retrieval services and provides top-notch customer service with a smile! Introduced to the marina industry through a friend’s recommendation, she quickly developed a passion for the industry, driven by the joy of seeing customers satisfied and happy. Outside of work, Andrea cherishes moments with her family, embarking on exciting road trips, and creating unforgettable memories with her husband, children, and grandson.

Johnny Figueroa

Dockhand/Relief Forklift Operator

Johnny is the fun-loving guy you will see on the Meridian Marina docks. Armed with a smile and his signature floppy beach hat, Johnny is always there to lend a hand to marina members! Johnny found his passion for the marina business while searching for a job closer to home, but it quickly transformed into something more profound. Working amidst boats and water isn’t just a job for him – it’s a fulfilling experience. His primary focus is on assisting marina members so they have a memorable time on the water, ensuring their needs are met with precision. Johnny is bilingual and enjoys conversing with Hispanic customers. Outside the office, Johnny’s love for nature takes him to the trails, where he enjoys soaking in the beauty of the outdoors.

Tracy Daily

Dock Office/Administration

With a passion for being on the water, Tracy found her calling in the marine industry 12 years ago, when she moved to Florida from Long Island. The marine industry allowed her to combine her love of the water with her commitment to providing excellent customer service experiences. With a background rich in customer service, Tracy understands the importance of personalized care and attention to detail. She is also a Florida public notary, adding an extra layer of expertise to her role. When Tracy is not in the marina office, she can be found enjoying her time outdoors, whether it’s by the water, on road trips, or spending quality time with family.

Jean Slane

Dock Office/Administration

Jean is a dedicated team member, serving as “Director of First Impressions” at Meridian Marina. With a passion for providing top-notch customer service experiences, Jean is always willing to go above and beyond to assist marina members in any way she can. She is truly an asset to the Meridian team, as she provides a personal and heartfelt touch to every customer interaction. Her journey into the marine industry stemmed from a desire to embrace new challenges and stay true to authentic, sincere customer relations. Outside of the Meridian Marina dock office, Jean enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, often embarking on short trips to Colorado to connect with her loved ones.

Cody Hitchcock

Dockhand

Cody is one of our dedicated dockhands, bringing enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the marina operations. Passionate about boats and outdoor work, Cody found his calling in the marine industry where he gets to combine his love for boats with hands-on work. From fueling up members’ boats to catching and washing boats, Cody ensures that every vessel is well-maintained and ready for the water. His hands-on passion extends beyond the workplace, as he spends his free time working on engines and machines, honing his skills and knowledge in the marine industry.

Kalyn Jacobs

Administrative Assistant/Dockhand/Social Media Coordinator

Kalyn wears many hats at Meridian Marina. She helps out wherever she is needed. Kalyn can be found on the docks helping launch boats or in the Ship Store scheduling the daily launches and manning the cash register. But she is not just part of the administrative team, Kalyn is also the Social Media Coordinator for Meridian Marina. She enjoys keeping members informed and engaged through her creative social media posts and member updates. Growing up and working alongside her family gave Kalyn the knowledge and experience that not many girls her age possess. With a remarkable passion for nature, saltwater activities, and boating, Kalyn’s journey in the marine industry began with her family’s shared love of marina management. Her goal is to ensure every boater has a remarkable experience on the water by maintaining boats and fostering a hassle-free environment for our members. Outside of the office and marina docks, she enjoys exploring Florida’s beaches and marine life, competitive rowing with her Crew team, spending quality time with her friends and family, as well as caring for her beloved chameleons.
